| At their studio nestled in the Northeastern Michigan farm country, artists Linda & David Deming bring to life unique original fine art creations. Among this husband & wife artistic team's creations are stained glass & metal sculptures, cement sculptures, custom furniture designs, garden art, home decor, custom jewelry and paintings. As artists they are not defined by media or materials but rather ideas and creativity. Inspired by nature, as well as, man's industrialism, they strive to capture life's energy in each new creation. Where artist and viewer become one with the energy of the artwork. Art is the expression of life. As an artist I am defined by ideas and creativity not by mediums or materials. Each idea enters my mind's eye completely finished thus telling me how it wants to be created and from which materials. Each finished piece of art work breaths its own life force. I am inspired by nature, as well as, man's industrialism. My art work seeks to capture life's energy and transmit that energy back to the viewer. Artist Resume Featured Artist Exhibit(s): Dow Gardens Winter Garden Art Walks Linda Deming has been chosen as the featured artist for the Dow Gardens Winter Garden Art Walks 2010/2011. There will be (25) original sculptures by Linda in the gardens throughout the winter. Some of the sculptures are new designs inspired by the gardens and will be unveiled to the public for the first time in the Dow Gardens. The Winter Garden Art Walks will include Special Illuminated Art Walks. The exhibit runs from December 2010 through February 2011. The exhibit will conclude with a Gala and live art auction at the Dow Gardens. Also, smaller pieces of the artist's work will be available for sale during the show at the Dow Gardens Gift Shop. Be sure to bring family and friends to the beautiful gardens to see the awesome sculptures! You can walk the gardens or cart tours are available.
